Bulletin

Young Church meets in the crypt following the first lesson.  All children and young people are invited to join us .  Parents with babies can also use the Browning Room at the back of the church at any time, where a speaker relays the service.

Our Patronal Festival, the Festival of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is on Sunday 17 August at 11 am at which the Preacher will be the Rt Revd Dr S O Sowale, Bishop of  Ilesa, Nigeria.

Date for your diary.  On Sunday 21 September at the 11 am Choral Eucharist, Fr Paul Thomas will be licensed by the Archdeacon of Charing Cross as Associate Rector of St Marylebone, Chaplain to the Royal Academy of Music and Chaplain to the St Marylebone Church of England School.  Please remember Fr Paul in your prayers as he takes up these additional responsibilities and support him by your presence on the day.

3 Peaks Challenge.  Fr Paul will attempt the 3 Peaks Challenge (climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours) this weekend to raise funds for Children’s Hospice UK.  If you wish to support his challenge then please visit the following website where you will be able to donate online.  Donations can also be given to Fr Paul personally on his return. www.justgiving.com/nevisscafellandsnowdon

Parking. We respectfully request that you do not park in front of the dropped curbs outside the church.  They provide vital disabled access.

More coffee helpers needed on Sunday mornings.  Please see Constance Saynor or Jenni Kightley, or one of the clergy if you would like to help.
