Steven was Director of the London Oratory School Schola from 2003-2006, conducting the choir of boys and men in a wide range of liturgical and concert commitments at the London Oratory Church and elsewhere. He prepared the boys for concerts in the Royal Festival and Royal Albert Halls, for a Charity Gala concert at the Guildhall and at Sadler’s Wells theatre with Polish National Opera. He directed the choir on tour in Neresheim Abbey, Germany and made numerous recordings for film and television, most notably contributions to The Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter film soundtracks. Following four years on the staff of the Junior Academy, Steven has recently been appointed Organist at King’s College School, Wimbledon.

As an organ soloist Steven has given regular concerts at St Marylebone Parish Church and has also appeared at The Royal Festival Hall, Coventry, Southwark, Westminster and Norwich Cathedrals and Bath and Westminster Abbeys among others. He has toured giving performances as both accompanist and soloist in France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain and the USA. Much in demand as an accompanist, Steven works as a repetiteur for Bampton Classical Opera and regularly accompanies a variety of choirs including New London Chamber Choir and the London Symphony Chorus. He has extensive experience as an organ accompanist, works regularly as an organist for the RSCM and is validated as an examiner for their national programme of singing awards. Steven has recently been appointed Principal Conductor of The Guildford Chamber Choir. |
