Director of Music: Steven Grahl MA (Oxon), PGDip (RAM), FRCO (cont)

Recent solo recital projects have included J.S.Bach’s six trio sonatas played on the Frobenius Organ of the Queens’s College, Oxford, and plans for 2009 include performances of Mendelssohn’s Organ Sonatas at St Marylebone and New College and the complete solo organ works of Maurice Duruflé played on the Cavaillé-Coll inspired Walker organ of Exeter College Chapel, Oxford. Active as an RSCM accompanist and examiner, occasional composer and organ teacher, Steven enjoys walking, is an enthusiast of real ales and hopes one day to have a golf handicap.

Steven was, for four years, organ teacher in the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music, and has also held posts at The London Oratory School and as Organist of King’s College School, Wimbledon.
