YOUNG CHURCH
What happens on Sunday morning

On arrival for the 11am Choral Eucharist children and young people are greeted by Michele Lee and new families are welcomed. We worship with the congregation until the First Lesson when children and young people are invited to go to the crypt for a short time of communal worship based on the theme of the day. Older children (secondary school age) then join their respective groups.

Father Paul Thomas addressing the Young Church group
The younger children remain to hear the Gospel and after a short presentation they engage in a choice of activities.

Group times are informal and a chance for children to share ideas, experiences and to interact and play together. Parents enjoy the opportunity to chat socially. Young Church then joins the congregation for Communion or a Blessing and remains in the church for the final part of the Eucharist. Refreshments are available immediately after the service.
